The DOC 7 range from Lowara come as submersible pumps for clean and dirty water. Corrosion-resistant and compact, with the option of either channel or Vortex impellers.
It can be supplied with/without a float switch and a built-in capacitor. The motor is cooled by the pumped liquid and thermal overload protection to protect the pump in case of overheating.
The main types are as follows:
DOC 7/A - Does not have a float switch and needs to be turned off/on manually, care must be taken to not allow the pump to run dry. This version has the standard channel impeller and can only handle solids up to 10mm (0.4").
DOC 7T/A - This is the same as the 7VX/A but the "T" means it uses three phase power.
DOC 7VXSG/A - This Vortex impeller version does not have a float switch and needs to be turned off/on manually, care must be taken to not allow the pump to run dry.
DOC 7VX/A - This Vortex impeller version can handle solids up to 20mm (0.8"), this is twice the size of the standard impeller. This version is automatic and uses a float to start/stop.
DOC 7VX/A GW - This version has a vortex impeller for solids up to 20mm (0.8") and a vertical tube float for use in more confined spaces.
DOC 7VXT/A - This is the same as the 7VX/A but the "T" means that uses three phase power.
DOC 7GT & 7VXGT- Discontinued and replaced by the DOC 7VX/A.
Doc pumps are available with two different cable lengths, we have chosen to only supply the version with the 10m cable as it allows more practicality in real-world use. The shorter cable version is available on request but the price difference is negligible.
